Do you have an R/C Transmitter?
Do you have a sound-card on your PC?
Then you don't need a joystick or an expensive USB adaptor.

What is SmartPropoPlus?
A software package that enables you to use your R/C transmitter as a joystick.

Who should use SmartPropoPlus?
Anyone who wishes to use his R/C transmitter as a joystick.
Anyone who wants to control his simulator with his R/C transmitter.

Will SmartPropoPlus work with my simulator?
Probably. SmartPropoPlus was tested with FMS, ClearView and other simulators. Since it emulates a standard joystick, it will work with any simulator that supports joystick.

Will SmartPropoPlus work with my R/C Transmitter?
Probably, if it has a trainer socket.
SmartPropoPlus was tested with JR, Futaba, Sanwa, Airtronics and other transmitters.
It supports PPM (both negative and positive shift) and several PCM standards.

Will SmartPropoPlus work with my PC?
Probably. SmartPropoPlus only needs a Microphone or Line-In audio input.
Most PC's has at least one of these inputs.
There are rare cases of low-quality sound-cards that won't work. Sorry.

What else do I need?
A cable of course.
Create or buy one that will connect the trainer socket in the transmitter to the PC sound-card.

How much then?
Nothing. SmartPropoPlus is free and open source. Just get yourself a cable.

What's now?
First, you need to download SmartPropoPlus.
Then you have to connect your transmitter to your PC.
You will also need to spend a few moments configuring
SmartPropoPlus.

The support of E-Sky CCPM Transmitters was added with the help of Juan José Rubio Marín who initiated the project and Speed Control,  who was kind enough to lend me an E-Sky R/C Transmitter for a long period of time – totally free of charge.

The support of Walkera PCM Transmitters was added with the help of Hans-Friedrich Fuge who initiated the project, Eilert Johansson who much improved the algorithm and Anton Heiss of RC-Toy you sent me a transmitter all the way from Germany, on his own expense.

The problem with Windows Vista was detected and fixed by Mr. Antony Briggs.
