Every time SPP-FMS starts. An err message appears on screen:
Startstreaming Failed;
Wave open failed.
When I acknowledge the err both SPP & FMS load. With my transmitter and PC connected, the thermometer responds to each channel movement correctly
How every the winscope is flat lined, joystick channel indicator show no movement at all. They do how ever move spontaneously with the transmitter disconnected.
My equipment is:
Transmitter Spectrum DX5I
Modulation type PPM W/Microphone
Sound card ESS Maestro (Dell Lap top)
Simulator FMS
Operating system WIN PRO 2000
SPP version 3.3.7
Would appreciate any help

This version of SPP does not support Windows 2000. Please try older version (I'd try 3.3.3) from download page http://sourceforge.net/projects/smart...

I’m up and flying. Installed SPP 3.3.3 version. The thermometer & winscope utility programs still fail to fiction. However I am communicating with FMS. Was able to calibrate my transmitter channels using FMS’s mapping and calibration menu

Thank you for coming back to report.

Conclusion, use version 3.3.3 for Windows 2000 (And probably Me/98).
